Jack Gerard, chairman and CEO of the American Petroleum Association, called on the US federal government to loosen restrictions on crude oil export in Washington on January 7

Gerard said at the annual meeting of the American Petroleum Association on the same day that the US government should re evaluate the policy of restricting crude oil export introduced in the 1970s due to the oil crisis connected to the pedicle screw machine and energy shortage, and implement free trade. Gerard is applicable to plastic plates, pipes and profiles. It is emphasized that in the first 11 months of 2013, the export volume of the U.S. oil and gas industry exceeded $129billion, accounting for 8.9% of the total U.S. export volume. The oil and gas industry has become the largest export industry in the United States and helped reduce the U.S. trade deficit to a four-year low. The United States needs to adjust its previous energy policies according to changes in the energy pattern
